PrePass is an automatic vehicle identification (AVI) system that allows participating transponder equipped Varsity Transport commercial vehicles to bypass designated Weigh Stations, Port-of-Entry Facilities and some Agricultural Interdiction Facilities. Cleared vehicles may proceed at highway speed, eliminating the need to stop. That means greater efficiency for VTO's and improved safety for all highway users.

Varsity Transport enjoys a safety rating which allows the use of the PrePass system. A condition of using the PrePass is a satisfactory fleet record of passing DOT inspections with no Out-Of-Service citations. So you can understand why we want your equipment to pass the DOT inspection every 6 months!
