In May of 1998 an owner/operator, who saw a way to work $marter, formed a Florida corporation that operates as Varsity Transport. While still a Florida corporation, the operating office is in Benton City, WA., and still has owner/operator experience at the helm.

This means that our base plates and IFTA stickers are from Florida. Quarterly fuel reports are filed with Florida.

Through experience we have come to be a valued carrier for C.H. Robinson Co., a broker with offices throughout the nation and a quick-pay program rivaled by none. Because of C.H. Robinson’s level of automation we rely on our VTOs to dispatch themselves. Our system is geared to pay you within 5 days of a clean bill-of-lading received at the operating office on Robinson loads.

Taking loads outside of the Robinson system is allowed, we expect you to know that most brokers typically take 30 days, or more to pay invoices, and most do not give fuel advances.

Your success, and ours, are intertwined. So our goal is to make life in this business as easy as possible for us both. We work to keep administration to the absolute minimum so that you are as independent as possible.
